type of coral reef, chiefly composed of calcium carbonate
and magnesium with traces of other minerals - very similar
to the human skeleton. The coral reef is constantly broken
down by water turbulence and wave action. The minute granules,
which are dislodged by this process, then proceed to the seabed.
